Adaptor to use a larger brake disc in combination with a Postmount fork or frame and a IS2000 brake. The adapter can be used as follows: 

fork with 160 mm mount:

SM-MA-F180S/P for the use of a 180 mm brake disc

SM-MA-F203S/P for the use of a 203 mm brake disc 

frame with 140 mm mount:

SM-MA-F180S/P for the use of a 160 mm brake disc

SM-MA-F203S/P for the use of a 180 mm brake disc 

frame with 160 mm mount:

SM-MA-F180S/P for the use of a 180 mm brake disc

SM-MA-F180P/P2 – Front 180mm

SM-MA-F203P/P – Front 203mm

Adapter for using a larger brake disc. For connecting a Postmount fork or frame with a Postmount brake caliper. The adapter can be used as follows:

140 mm fork mount:

SM-MA-F180P/P2 – for using a 160 mm brake disc

160 mm fork mount:

SM-MA-F180P/P2 – for using a 180 mm brake disc

SM-MA-F203P/P2 – for using a 203 mm brake disc

140 mm frame mount:

SM-MA-F180P/P2 – for using a 160 mm brake disc

160 mm frame mount:

SM-MA-F180P/P2 – for using a 180 mm brake disc

Note: For using a 203 mm brake disc at an 180 mm frame mount, the separately sold “Shimano XTR SM-MA90 Adapter” (SM-MA90-F203P/P) is required.

The offered adapters are not compatible to the following brake calipers:

HOPE Tech 3 E4 caliper
